The title of this CD is absolutely perfect.  It has the cinematic scope of an epic sci-fi, horror or fantasy film, giving you the feeling you're exploring some abandoned castle or possibly a cathedral on another planet.  While dark and brooding, the rhythms on each track, keep it from becoming morbid.  There are a lot of recurring themes but Steve always manages to keep you guessing.  Once you think you've heard it all, he throws in another take on a drumbeat or synthesizer squiggle to the point of virtual audio whiplash.  As for the sound quality, it's sumptuous, leaving you feeling satisfied and at the same time wanting to hear more.  This is electronica at it's best and is a must own.
